"This song is a desperate cry for humanity, for change--for people to not only care, but to see that to give a shit is profound and extraordinary, for there are far too many amongst us making incredible messes of things in the name of apathy." Says Benjamin Hackman, lead vocalist and songwriter of The Holy Gasp "A teacher once told me long ago that 'there are two types of people in this world: those who make messes, and those who clean them up.' I'm not sure this song can make things any less messy, but I sure hope it helps to distinguish who amongst us is yielding bombs, and who is yielding brooms. The internet daily is filled with stories and reports of rape and murder, oil spills and clear cuts, missing people and animals on the brink of extinction. When I think of my 6-year-old nephew and the world he will surely never know, I fear in my heart that this is The Last Generation of Love."

They will be performing at the Milk Glass on October 4th. Great band to watch live. I actually like these guys.
